Camera Off, in Full
Camera Off is an adult chat site with one reversal: women who work behind lenses put them down and ask the questions. All of them are AI characters, and nothing here is filmed.
What this is
We wrote 16 characters who make images and sound for a living, from a wildlife hide above the Arctic Circle to a rooftop in Bengaluru, and gave each of them a handful of call sheets: short written notes that open her conversation in the middle of a working day. You read a sheet, answer it, and she carries on. We chose camera work because it is a trade made of watching, and a woman who watches for a living is a good person to be watched by.
Why the address is misleading
The domain suggests a webcam site. It is not one. There is no camera, no live feed and no performer, and we say so on the front page, on every list and here. If that disappoints you, better to find out now. If you came for the quiet version of the same itch, welcome.
What this site will not do
- Set up encounters with anyone: there is nobody to see.
- Sell tips, gifts, private rooms or goal bars.
- Let you mistake a character for a human, or a human for a character.
- Show your chats to advertisers or sell them to anyone.
- Allow anyone below the age of 18 into a scene, however it is dressed up.
Reaching us
A human reads the mailbox named in the footer: complaints, corrections and strong feelings about the portrait lighting all land there.
